Like millions of people living abroad or managing chronic conditions, our founder experienced the same painful reality: Medical records are fragmented, inaccessible, and impossible to manage across borders.
After moving between Hong Kong, the United States, Belgium, Japan, and Mainland China, she realized that every doctor asked the same questions — past conditions, medications, lab trends — yet none of that information was easily available when it mattered most.
This sparked a simple idea:

- •What if AI could translate, summarize, and interpret it — instantly and securely?
From that question, MediPass was born.

Avis brings a unique blend of healthcare insight, global experience, and strategic rigor. After managing chronic illness for over a decade while navigating healthcare systems across multiple countries, she became deeply aware of how inaccessible medical records are for patients.
With an MBA from Stanford GSB and experience in management consulting, she specializes in product vision, patient-centric design, and healthcare operations, leading MediPass with empathy and clarity.
